Baby Joe is back!

Baby Joe completed the last of his Baby Plan sessions and I am so sad to say goodbye! Joe's mom and dad are in the military and the next few years will find them spread around the world.

I am thrilled that my life was touched by these folks and I send them off wishing the best of luck and happiness!!

Summer Playgroup Portrait Parties!

I am scheduling Summer Playgroup Portrait Parties!

What you do:
1) Schedule a Playgroup Party at your home or a local park on a Sunday-Friday.
2) Invite me to come along!
3) Have fun at your party and relax while I shoot away!
4) Earn free portraits from the party and jewelry based on the sales from your party.

Call or email to check on availability and get details.

I look forward to spending this summer with you!

Father's Day Special and Benefit for LLS!

On June 17th--Father's Day--I am offering a one-time opportunity!

I am scheduling 15 minute appointments for $15. $5 from each session will benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of my Dad. With each appointment, you will receive a 5x7 from the session! (You may also purchase additional prints from your session, as you wish.)

Bring your Dad and have your photo taken! During each session, I will take approximately 10-15 shots in my studio space.

As someone that can't take a photo with my Dad, I highly encourage you to do so--with this opportunity, there isn't a large time or monetary investment and the emotional return is huge. (In other words, you should be able to talk your Dad into this one!) :) Pop on over before or after your Father's Day activities! There ARE a limited number of appointments available, so call or email NOW to schedule!

Please, no family portraits and Dad's must be a part of the photo for this special.

Meet my niece! :)

(This one may not be the greatest portrait, but MAN it cracks me up!!)

Expectations

This week I had a wonderful maternity session--the images are beautiful. But I won't show them here, because the session was mostly ala 'Demi Moore'. ;)

Here's a teaser, though. :)

New Websites Coming Soon!

I bit the bullet tonight and purchased two new sites--one to dedicate entirely to weddings and another to entirely seniors. I've been shoppin' around for a while and tonight I pushed myself to 'just-do-it'!

So exciting! (Despite the LARGE amount of cash I just dropped! Eek!)

Retro Senior

This young man wanted something a little bit retro--so we did our best in the surroundings! (And hopefully there's something here for Dad too--who I am not quite sure was feelin' the retro thing! ;) )

Congratulations Kyle!

Colin and Phillip's Announcement!

Incredible Opportunity!

I hope you take advantage of the following opportunity--as I've mentioned before, I lost my father to leukemia. He was 52 and had just 6 months from diagnosis to death--he is dearly missed each and every day.

For a limited time, you can register for free with the Bone Marrow Registry. Go to www.marrow.org and click on the big banner that says "Join Today". You'll find out how to register and have a mouth swab kit mailed to you. It is 100% free and you may have the opportunity to save a life! Wow!

I have registered and I highly encourage you to do the same--imagine yourself in the shoes of a parent waiting for the perfect marrow match for their son or daughter.

I hope you'll consider registering and pass the information along to family, friends and colleagues. The more people registered, the more lives can be saved!

Heather

Such a pretty member of the Class of 2007!

Class of 2020!

My oldest daughter, Emma, had 'Preschool Graduation' last night! It was one of the cutest, funniest things I've ever attended. I watched her on stage with joy and a bit of disbelief that she has grown so much, so fast!

Each class member walked down the aisle of the big auditorium and each received a 'diploma'; each class sang a song--Emma's class sang 'She'll be coming 'round the mountain' and Emma sang it with gusto, leading her end of the class a little ahead of the rest! I was laughing so hard I cried!

Seeing all of them in their little red robes was amazing and I am so glad we had to opportunity to get a 'glimse' of the future.

Walking down the aisle, past me:

Could she be any darn cuter???? :)

My Real Life

I constantly get asked 'How do you get your kids to sit so still [to take their picture]?!?!'

And then I look at them like they are crazy. LOL

My kids don't sit still. Well, they do for a half second, and I click the shutter in that half second. :)

On Tuesday nights, you will most often find my girls and I watching Dancing With the Stars. They LOVE the show. LOVE it. They run to their playroom and gather all of my old dance costumes and put them on. A boa or a princess crown and some jewelry is often added, for effect. ;) And then they DANCE. They imitate the dancers on the screen and swoon over the outfits. It is HILARIOUS.

Well, this week Carly was the only one interested in getting all dressed up--and I laughed and laughed when she appeared to display her garb. She wore my green sequin dance costume (yes, something I truly wore to a dance recital as a kid), a boa clad tiara, complete with dirt, chocolate, and sweat all over her face (they'd been playing outside prior to the show). It was quite a sight.

On the first commercial, I convinced her to go to my studio space to capture some images.

These are proof that outfits, cleanliness, and posture don't matter. I guarantee that I will love these images as much, if not more, than the 'perfect ones'.

I love her chubby 3 year old legs!!

Emma couldn't stay out of the action: 'Girls, go cuddle.' LOL
