The Downey's!

The Downey Twins and Family are back!

Callie and Rick are close friends and like part of family, and I love photographing them.

But, the feelings aren't always mutual! LOL Carson wasn't having any part of it, as you will see below....the twins are cute as ever....and I can't believe Emma can be as old as she is (well, I can, as 'my Emma' and 'Callie's Emma' are only 2 1/2 weeks apart--Callie and I were pregnant together and I remember it like it was yesterday--but time sure flies!!).

And, yes, this post is truly evidence of how far behind in blogging I am!!! :)

Cory Ann came to town!

A good photographer friend, Cory Ann Ellis, came to town to stay with me--I couldn't let her leave without getting an image of me with my girls!

This is the front of my Christmas card this year:

Young and In Love!

I'm looking forward to shooting this couple's wedding next year!

I will be hoping for an equally gorgeous wedding day as we had on this one!

I truly enjoy photographing engagement sessions--it gives me a chance to get to know the couple together and learn the best way to photograph them.

Back from Hawaii!

I am back from Hawaii!

The trip was dreamed up over 6 months ago when I decided to run the Honolulu Marathon for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The cause is important to me and very close to my heart--I run in memory of my Dad, who I lost to leukemia almost 7 years ago. I've spent months and months and months training and raising money for The Society--so much hard work and it finally paid off with the trip! This trip was more for me than just a trip--it was a symbol of surviving the last two years of my life, that have not been easy. What better way to celebrate survival than with raising money for a great cause in memory of my dad and running 26.2 miles with close friends? It was exactly the 'therapy' I needed to get my groove back and it worked like a charm.

Here are some images taken from the trip--forgive the quality on some....point and shoot stuff and not taken by me! :)
Malinda and I ready to run--looking gorgeous (LOL) at about 4am--in our Team in Training jerseys!
A night out after the race--Malinda, Julie, and I!

The Perkins Family

I have photographed this family several times and find each time more and more enjoyable! They are such a joy and always look so good!!
