Baby Luke!

Welcome to the world Baby Luke!

This sweet little guy's proofs and slideshow aren't quite done yet, but his mama (remember Nicole??) goes back to work on Monday and I wanted her to have images to look at while she's there. I remember how hard that first day back was!

Most 5 week old's aren't quite 'full of personality' yet, but Little Luke sure was! Yes, he's actually smiling--we caught several of them throughout the shoot and, yes, he is sticking his tongue out at me! The nerve! ;)

Sweet little guy....

The tongue!

"Did I do that??"

A smile!

Travis--Class of 2007

It's that time of year again--the 'end-of-the-year' seniors usually get their senior pics done in March or April, and this year is hoppin' with them.

I had a great time with Travis and his mom, Traci--we explored Parkville a bit and got some great shots of Travis. He only wanted a few in-studio, so we spent almost all of our time on-location.

Congratulations to Travis!!

Baby Joe is growing!

Baby Joe is growing and growing--but is just as CUTE as ever.

I just love this little guy and his parents--they make me happy to be a photographer and honored to share such a special time in their lives.

Doesn't he just make you smile?? :)

Cassy!

I am so lucky to have lots of children live on my block and Cassy lives on our street. She is one of my daughter's best little friends! Emma just loves playing with her!

So, of course, I was very excited to photograph her and also grab one of she and Emma together!

She's a little model for Spring!

Kearney High School Spring Play

I had the pleasure of photographing the spring play at Kearney High School--doing different events like this is alway fun for me!

We did some individual shots and also some shots during their dress rehearsal.

Enjoy!

Another Sukaromya family!

Remember my good friends Pakarsit and Cathy? Well, Pakarsit's brother, Parinya, and wife Adena brought Amya and Aden to visit for photos!

We had a great time--can you tell?? ;)

Gorgeous children!!

A little spring inspiration for you!

This photo was taken along the highway on a roadtrip vacation to Virginia with the ENTIRE Gorombey (think in-laws, aunts, cousins, grandparents, etc.) family.

I loved the small wildflowers along the side of the highway with the tall evergreens in the background. I think this was in West Virginia. I took the original image into photoshop and played with it a bit, giving it the look of a watercolor.

I've been taking lots of 'signs on spring' images with my kids in tow, and I will post more soon!

Email and phone

I seem to be having some connection issues with my internet and cable connections and it's messing with my communication abilities!

I use Time Warner for everything (phone, computer, tv) and sometimes it gets really messed up. [Imagine image of me throwing a fit here.] ;) When people call they get a busy signal and my emails (but not ALL of them--even more odd) seem to be heading into outer space. I've been doing some testing today with friends and family to see if I can figure out any patterns.

Anyway, I'm hoping that tomorrow all is well and I will resend everything that has apparently bounced. If you've sent me an email, and not heard from me, send it again.....

Another beautiful belly!

Beautiful bellies abound! Meet Tiffany and Matt--a really great couple and truly my honor to capture this great time in their lives!

Avery

Avery is the one year old daughter of my oldest's preschool teacher!

It was great fun having them over and capturing the interaction between mom and daughter.

I had trouble picking my favorites from this session--there are so many nice ones!

The Sky

I spent the day in bed, with little strength for anything, but while I was on the phone with my mother-in-law this evening I glanced outside and noticed a GORGEOUS sky. Anxious to move and get some fresh air, I grabbed my camera.

The blues were spectacular and the sun lit up the tops of clouds, making them pink. While I was watching them, I started to notice tiny flashes of lightning within the pink parts of the cloud. It was amazing.

Here are the clouds that immediately preceded the heavy storms Kansas City is experiencing tonight!
