Wow! Meet Nicole--she is gorgeous! She and I had a great time capturing her images--and I'm excited to report that she is a new 'baby planner', so I'll get to watch her family's life grow and change over the next year. I love that!

One of my favorite families!
One of the great perks of this job is meeting great families--this month I had the pleasure of photographing one of my favorite families--Candice, Dave, and Reese. It is such a joy to meet people and watch a family grow. Candice is expecting their second daughter and I know the newest little one will be as gorgeous as the rest of the family!
Christmas in Review
There was gingerbread, of course.....
The best of friends.....And all of the Gorombey's piled in cars for the annual trip to Longview Lake......

On Christmas Day my one year old niece stole my camera! She managed to get off one 'self-portrait' shot as she was dropping it to the ground. Yes, my professional camera. Thank the Lord she's not taller--it didn't have far to go!
One of my girls' big gifts was the Kid Tough Digital Camera by Fisher Price--they LOVE it. Emma was so cute with it....on the way home after Christmas Day dinner at the in-laws, she wanted to go take pictures of lights. Perhaps my best gift this year was watching her emulate me and enjoy her new camera so much.
Here are a few pics that Emma and Carly shot with their new little camera.....in the following order: my sister, Dana, and brother in law, Cliff (they are going to just LOVE this shot--not!); Carly picking her nose (this one just cracks me up); and two sister-in-laws, Kristen and Janine! The image quality on these stinks, but the fun quality is fantastic--I highly recommend the camera if you are constantly fighting your own little ones off your own camera.

Sick as a dog
Things are in full swing for the Holiday Season! I've just wrapped up shoots for Christmas and am busy creating cards, books, collages, and gifts for everyone! It's fun and overwhelming all at the same time.
Naturally, I find myself sick AGAIN with bronchitis--not a good time to be sick. Fortunately, I can find small bursts of energy to work on items--but I take more breaks than usual. I went to the doctor today and am on an antibiotic--fingers crossed that it kicks in quickly.
No worries to those of you waiting on prints and gifts from me! They will be done in plenty of time for Christmas.

Trip to the Pumpkin Patch and Apple Orchard!
The entire Gorombey clan (well, most of 'em) headed to the pumpkin patch and apple orchard over the weekend. This is one of my favorite fall things to do. I've also captured some of my favorite images of my kids and nieces and nephews over the years during this annual trip.
We try to hit less populated destinations--which is getting harder and harder to do!
Enjoy the pics of the whole family!
(My girls are in the faux fur coat and faux sherling coat--the other kids are my neices and nephews: Joey, Noah, Kylie, and Annabelle.) The adults are varying sister and brother-in-laws (there's a bunch of them!), as well as my mother-in-law.
